 After School Program Grant Project Manager

AV Elementary After-School Program Grant Manager, 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, 10 months per year. $18.92 – $20.02/hour. Contact the District Office for complete job description and to obtain application. 

Job Summary & Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Superintendent and the Elementary School Principal, the Grant Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the establishment, management, budget, local evaluations of the grant programs, and other related duties as required.

Examples of Duties

  • Oversee and implement all aspects of the grant
  • Participate in meetings, and other committees to coordinate project with existing district programs
  • Oversee the class offerings, staff meetings and advisory committee to coordinate project with existing programs
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent meetings and classes to coordinate project with existing programs
  • Communicate with district staff to coordinate project classes and other activities coordinating project with existing programs
  • Coordinate communication between sites, programs, community partners and the District.
  • Organize and facilitate the advisory committee.
  • Coordinate with the after-school academic, enrichment and recreation program
  • Coordinate parent involvement: parent meetings, family literacy, parent communication/translations, Adult Ed classes as appropriate.

Training and Experience

  • B.A. preferred
  • Experience working with children and their parents

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work some weekends and evenings.
  • A valid CA Drivers License.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 25lbs.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time

Job Description

DEFINITION

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual: English-Spanish.
  • Ability to get along, facilitate teamwork and collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to outreach to people and groups in the Anderson Valley and Mendocino County.
  • Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.

Training and Experience:
